Call for Tracks

You are invited to submit a track proposal for ISCRAM 2027.

Under the theme “Supporting First Nations and remote communities”, ISCRAM 2027 continues the conference's long tradition of inviting proposals for tracks that bring together researchers and practitioners around a shared topic in crisis and disaster management. Tracks may build on tracks from previous ISCRAM conferences, or introduce new topics of interest to the ISCRAM community — particularly those connected to remote and First Nations communities, the Indo-Pacific region, and the natural and human-made hazards facing Western Australia and beyond.

Each track is led by one or more track chairs, who are responsible for promoting the track, recruiting reviewers, and overseeing the review process for papers submitted to that track. Track chairs are recognised as members of the ISCRAM 2027 Program Committee.

Proposals of particular interest include, but are not limited to:

• First Nations & Indigenous knowledge in crisis management
• Remote & rural community resilience
• Natural hazards (bushfire, cyclone, flood, earthquake, tsunami)
• Cybersecurity & critical infrastructure protection
• AI & generative AI for crisis response
• Crisis informatics & social media
• Human-in-the-loop & decision support systems
• Indo-Pacific regional collaboration
